Data You Enter

NameKeep may allow you to save information such as names, descriptions, labels, notes, or other details about people you meet. This information is entered by you and is used only to provide the app's core features.

Data Storage

NameKeep stores the information you enter locally on your device. NameKeep does not require a sign-in, email address, or phone number, and we do not collect, transmit, or store your saved entries on external servers.

Data Collection

NameKeep does not collect, transmit, sell, or store your personal information on external servers. The information you add to the app remains under your control.

Importing Data

NameKeep may allow you to import existing lists or information into the app. Imported data is stored locally on your device and is used only to provide the app's core features.

Exporting Data

NameKeep may allow you to export your data so you can save it, back it up, or share it. Exported files are controlled by you. Once you export or share your data outside of NameKeep, you are responsible for how that exported data is stored, protected, or shared.

Notifications

NameKeep may offer optional notifications, such as memory quiz reminders to help you practice remembering people you have saved. Notifications are opt-in only and can be managed through the app or your device settings. NameKeep does not use notifications for advertising or marketing.

App Permissions

NameKeep does not access your contacts, photos, camera, location, or calendar.

Third Parties

NameKeep does not share your information with third parties. NameKeep does not use your saved names, descriptions, labels, or other personal details for advertising, analytics, or profiling.

User Control

You are responsible for the information you choose to save in NameKeep. You may delete information from the app at any time using the app's available delete or edit features.

Security

NameKeep is designed to keep your saved information private by storing it locally on your device. However, no app, device, or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Because your data is stored on your device, we recommend using your device's security features, such as a passcode, Face ID, fingerprint lock, or similar protections.

Children's Privacy

NameKeep is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

If this Privacy Policy changes, the updated version will be posted with a revised “Last updated” date.
